Happy 2012! After a short break for the holidays, we're well into GCT's 60th season and are preparing for our next 2 GCT productions and our spring GPP children's show. But now onto this entry's topic: Enter our Logo Contest! We are looking for a new logo to bring a fresh look to our website and promotional materials--something to help Greensburg Civic Theatre stand out. Our comedy/tragedy mask logo has served GCT well these many years, but in this digital age, we feel we need something that really pops on a page to promote our community theatre.
Why enter? The winner will have their entry become the new official logo for Greensburg Civic Theatre, have it displayed on GCT’s homepage, Facebook, and Twitter, as well as used for marketing purposes. Additionally the winner will have the opportunity to design advertising material for Greensburg Civic Theatre’s 2012 - 2013 season so the winner can promote his/her own artistic/design talent. The winner will also receive an invitation to GCT’s year end Wrap Party. We have a stand-out slate of judges: Charlene Bidula--Communications Specialist for the the Westmoreland Museum of American Art, Rosslyn Kemerer--Senior Graphic Designer for Downs Creative and Katya Shaffer, Board President Greensburg Civic Theatre.
